According to Richtman, one possible project for Hawley to write and direct is aYoung Avengersmovie. The acclaimed writer and director was reportedly considered forAvengers: DoomsdayandAvengers: Secret Warsbefore Marvel Studios decided to reteam with the Russo Brothers for both films. It should be noted that official sources have not confirmed or denied Richtman’s report.
As the series creator, main writer, and showrunner of FX’sFargoTV show, Hawley may seem like an unexpected candidate to direct a blockbuster MCU movie.
