The 2024 PC Gaming Show offered a look at new game announcements and updates on previously revealed titles. Eternal Strandswill be the first release from Yellow Brick Games, a studio founded by Ubisoft and BioWare veterans. The action-adventure title will take a page out ofBreath of the Wild’s book by making nearly every surface climbable and giving players an in-depth physics engine to emphasize exploration and interaction with the world around them. Early teasers also make it look likeEternal Strandswill haveShadow of the Colossus-style boss fightswhere players get to climb up massive enemies.

Citizen Sleeper 2is the sequel to a 2022 cyberpunk RPG with a focus on building character relationships and a gripping narrative. The originalCitizen Sleeperalso got a day-one releaseon Game Pass, so fans of the series should be excited that the second is getting the same treatment. Anyone who hasn’t played the original can still grab it on Game Pass for now to catch up before the sequel comes out in late January.

The full scope of what other games will come to Game Pass in January and what will leave is still up in the air. But for now, fans can get ready for at least two day-one titles next month.
