Summary
World of Warcraft ClassicSeason of Discovery Phase 6 added an item called Zila Amanemodas, a cosmetic that lets Warlocks change their Metamorphosis form to look like their character, but with demonic wings, rather than a full demonic transformation. Though earning this cosmetic requires them to solo an incredibly powerful boss, Warlock tanks inWorld of Warcraft ClassicSeason of Discovery won’t want to miss out on this awesome cosmetic.
Season of Discovery is an ongoingWorld of Warcraft Classicexperiment that allows players to obtain powerful Rune engravings that can completely change how their class plays. One of the most extreme examples of this is theMetamorphosis Runefor Warlocks, which was available in the first Season of Discovery phase. This ability lets the Warlock transform into a massive demon, changing how many of their spells work, and allowing them to fulfill the tanking role in parties.
However, now that Season of Discovery Phase 6 has launched, Warlock tanks can obtain a new customization that changes the way their Metamorphosis form looks. After reachinglevel 60 inWorld of Warcraft ClassicSeason of Discovery, Warlocks can speak with Fleuric in the Deadwind Pass near Karazhan to be teleported to a special instance where they must fight Xalus Nihilus – the manifestation of their inner demon. Fans who defeat this boss earn Zila Amanemodas, a usable toy stored in the Key Ring that changes their Metamorphosis form to have their character grow black and purple demonic wings while otherwise keeping their normal appearance.
How to Get Humanoid Metamorphosis Customization in WoW Classic SoD Phase 6
Fans should be aware that Xalus Nihilus is an extremely difficult encounter. The demonic boss uses Shadow Cleave, a frontal cone that can be interrupted with the Felhunter’s Spell Lock, a debilitating slow debuff that can be removed with the Felhunter’s Devour Magic, and a massive amount of burst damage in the form of Demonic Destruction, which a Voidwalker’s Sacrifice can help mitigate. Needless to say,Warlocks inWorld of Warcraft ClassicSeason of Discoverywill want to be well-equipped before trying this fight – and even then, it may take them a few tries to defeat Xalus Nihilus.
WoW ClassicSeason of Discovery still has one more phase leftbefore the experiment comes to an end. Though the update does not have a release date yet,World of Warcraft ClassicSeason of Discovery players can expect the Naxxramas raid, as well as new instances in the Deadwind Pass and the Eastern Plaguelands, once the final phase drops early next year.
