World of Warcrafthas teamed up with Discord once again to offer a new Quest reward in the form of the Crown of the Violet Rose. By streaming 15 minutes ofWorld of Warcraftto at least one friend in Discord between now and December 9, players can obtain this exclusive head transmog item for free.
Quests are a relatively new feature Discord added near the end of March that allows players to obtain rewards by streaming or playing specific games through the social media app. While many Quests award cosmetics for use in Discord itself, others reward in-game items, such as the Parrlok pet forWorld of Warcraft’s quest to celebrate the launch ofThe War Within.
Now, Blizzard has begun a new Discord Quest as a part ofWorld of Warcraft’s ongoing collaboration with Mountain Dew. From now through December 9, fans can earn the Crown of the Violet Rose head transmog by accepting the Discord Quest, and then streaming 15 minutes ofWorld of Warcraftto at least one friend, either in a direct message, group chat, or in a server. Once they complete the quest, they will receive a code that can be redeemed through the Battle.net app.
The Crown of the Violet Rose is a dark purple recolor of the Crown of the White Rose. This goth cosmetic matches the Twilight Witch’s Attire – a former cash shop ensemble that is currently available intheWorld of WarcraftTrading Post catalog for December.
Unfortunately, like theWorld of Warcraftx Mountain Dew promotion, this Discord Quest is currently only available to US players. That said, the code can seemingly be redeemed by fans in other regions, so these gamers still get it if they have friends in the United States, as extra rewards can be earned using secondary Discord accounts.
