World of Warcraft Classichas enabled Dual Spec on its fresh 20th anniversary realms. As of each region’s last weekly reset, characters of level 40 and above on theseWorld of Warcraftservers can activate this feature for 50 gold.

On November 21,World of Warcraftopened a set of newClassicrealms that started over from the beginning of the game. However, unlike the first run ofClassicin 2019,World of Warcraftadded a few quality-of-life features to the game, including improvements to the reporting system, the LFG tool, and instant mail between characters on the same account. Blizzard also confirmed Dual Spec would be added after launch, but did not give a timetable for when it would arrive.

Now, only a week after thenewWoW Classicanniversary serverswent live, this popular feature has already been added to the game. Players can now visit any of their class trainers and pay a 50 gold fee to activate a second talent setup, after which they can freely swap between them while out of combat in most areas of the game. Characters cannot get this feature until they reach level 40, so fans may need to keep leveling in order to have the option appear at the appropriate NPCs.

Dual Spec is a feature that allows players to switch between two different talent setups while out of combat. Each array has its own hotbar setup, easily enabling fans to adapt their playstyle on the fly without having to return to a class trainer, pay for a full respec, and adjust their hotbars. The feature itself was originally added inWrath of the Lich King, and thoughDual Spec was added inWorld of Warcraft ClassicSeason of Discovery, it has otherwise never arrived this early on the retro servers before.

Players should keep in mind that swapping to their other talent spec will reset rage, energy, and mana to zero, so fighting immediately afterward is deadly for most classes. If Hardcore fans don’t want to lose their characters likeMizkif did while streaming from hisWoW South Parkepisode-themed basement, they should be sure to take a moment to recover their resources first.
