Since its initial launch all the way back in 2017,Fortnitehas become one of the most popular video games ever made, averaging over 1 million active players per day. The game’sfree-to-play Battle Royale modeput it on the map back in the day, but it’s the consistent flow of seasonal content that’s kept fans coming back year after year, and major expansions that have helped to bring in new players – expansions likeLEGO Fortnite.

LEGO Fortnitehad a huge impact upon its launch last year, with it managing to pull in 2.4 million players on day one, essentially tripling the number of players in the beloved Battle Royale mode. While that initial wave of excitement has obviously worn off,LEGO Fortniteis still incredibly popular, and it seems likely that developer Epic Games would want to celebrate the mode’s continued success on December 7.
