When you first get started inAtlyss, you will automatically be a part of the Novice class. This is regardless of therace and appearance that you choose. After you reach level 10, however, you have three classes to choose from, which include Fighter, Mystic, and Bandit. All have their own abilities that set them apart.
With three different options to choose from, it can be hard to make a decision about what is best for your character. There are different positives and negatives for each class that is available. Here’s what you need to know to choose the right class inAtlyss.
Atlyss: Fighter Class
The Fighter Class can be taken on by obtaining the Tome of the Fighter, and is mostlyfocused on physical damage combatskills. Its abilities are improved through increasing theStrength stat.
Cooldown
Stomp
Player stomps on the ground, which damages any nearby enemies and slows them.
6 seconds
Rage
The player gets into a fit of rage and gains a temporary Attack power buff for 20 seconds.
30 seconds
Lethal Strike
Sends the player into a lethal dash, which lands a heavy force attack on hit. The use of this skillrequires a physical combat weapon.
6.25 seconds
Blood Gush
Deals initial damage, and then applies a bleeding status condition on hit. This also requires a physical combat weapon.
12 seconds
Cyclone
The player throws their weapon like a boomerang, causing damage to any enemy hit. Requires a polearm or heavy melee weapon.
16 seconds
Shield Bash
The player bashes an enemy with their shield, which stuns them for a short period. Requires a held shield.
10 seconds
Bulwark
Decreases stamina cost from getting hit while blocking. Time to parry will increase by 1.5 seconds, and parry stagger time will increase by 0.8 seconds.

Atlyss: Mystic Class
The Mystic Class can be taken on by using the Tome of the Mystic. This class is mostlycentered around magic damage skills, and most of its abilities will be buffed by increasing yourMind stat.
Fluxbolt
The player will cast a projectile which explodes when hitting someone or something.
1.3 seconds
Fluxspear
Casts a piercing bolt in front of the player, and damages all adjacent enemies.
3 seconds
Cross
The player will manifest a source of arcane magic, which explodes and knocks enemies back. It deals magic damage and applies a debuff which lowers magic defense.
3.15 seconds
1.4-0.36 seconds (Depending on rank)
Prism
Creates a shield around the caster, which can absorb a certain amount of damage for 20 seconds.
Imbue
The user casts a buff on themselves and allies which will increase their magic power and max mana for 60 seconds.
1.25 seconds
Atlyss: Bandit Class
For the Bandit class, this one can be obtained by receiving the Tome of the Bandit. This class is a mixture ofclose and long-distance attacks, and will have its abilities increased through theDexterity stat.
Venom Shot
Allows the player to shoot a venom projectile which lowers the defense of the enemy, and does 3 damage every 0.8 seconds. It lasts for 10 seconds.
5 seconds
Killer Jab
Strikes an enemy with strong initial damage, and can also possibly give them a poison debuff which lowers physical defense by 10 and movement speed by 20%. This skill requires katars.
8 seconds
Volley
Fires a projectile above, which rains shrapnel on enemies. This skillrequires a ranged weapon.
Pay Day
Stuns an enemy, and forces them to drop currency. This skill requires katars.
13 seconds
Bomb Trap
Places an explosive trap that triggers within proximity of nearby enemies.
Mist Veil
Gives the player an invisibility buff with 100% evasion against avoidable attacks. If you attack, however, it removes the buff.
40 seconds
Bounce
The user jumps a short distance, then bounces high above when hitting the ground. This can be interrupted if hit.
Agile Technique
Can unlock a triple jump, wall kick, and dash long jump.
Ranged Mastery
Increases ranged weapon attack speed by a certain amount depending on rank.
