While it is possible to get the Cloak of Evasion through other methods later in the game, players can get it asearly as when they reach Romaria. In Romaria, head into the items store to the left of the main gate, and head down the stairs along the bottom edge of the shop toenter the Monster Arena. How To Best Use The Cloak Of Evasion In Dragon Quest 3 Remake
The Cloak of Evasion is a piece of armor that is best used when your party is alsoin a proper Line-Upwith your weaker spell-casters towards the back. Spell-Casters usually can’t wear heavy armor to make up for their low HP, so having gear that focuses on dodging is a great choice, and useful for keeping them alive longer when the enemy is using a lot of party-wide attacks.
Another useful option isequipping the Cloak Of Evasion on whoever is your leadersince they will get targeted by the most single-target attacks. While the defense stat is fairly low, there’s a chance more attacks will get dodged and be more helpful in that party member’s goal of distracting enemies. Even when you’ve gotten farther into the game and aresearching for the orbs, this item is well worth the fairly minimal effort to get, and will still be useful even at that point in the game.
