Parkour games with a first-person perspective can be incredibly immersive, but they can easily cause motion-sickness if the game’s camera isn’t absolutely perfect. Though it was initially teased around three years ago,STORROR Parkour Prowas officially announced just a few days ago, when it was given a Steam Early Access release window of Q1 2025. While its announcement trailer might not have necessarily wowed with its graphics,STORROR Parkour Prohas some really intriguing features under the surface, making it a game that’s certainly worth watching.
What Players Can Expect From STORROR Parkour Pro
STORROR Parkour Pro Is Putting Player-Freedom Front and Center
The biggest takeaway fromSTORROR Parkour Pro’s reveal trailerand its pre-release marketing is that it’s a game designed primarily around giving the player as much freedom as possible. For instance,STORROR Parkour Prois using a mixture of physics-based animations and motion-capture from real-life parkour athletes to capture the game’s incredibly fluid movement. According to the game’s Steam page, “no two moves are the same,” with the game apparently having hundreds of animations that seem to flow seamlessly into one another.
STORROR Parkour Pro’s control schemereinforces this concept of player-freedom. Though exact details of the game’s control scheme haven’t been given yet, the game’s Steam page states that players will be able to “choose what [they] do and when [they] do it,” implying that players will have a great deal of freedom in how they use the game’s different parkour animations and inputs.
A further reinforcement ofSTORROR Parkour Pro’s high level of player-freedom is the game’s open-world setting.Set in London’s Isle of Dogs, players will have a large concrete jungle to play around in. This modern metropolis will contain moving trains, large cranes, and tall skyscrapers, and players will have the freedom to explore all of it at their own pace.

STORROR Parkour Pro’s Game Modes and Multiplayer
Though it’s still early days,STORROR Parkour Prohas tentatively confirmed a handful of game modes ahead of itsQ1 2025 release window. Players will be able to “escape from security,” complete time trials, rack up points in a skill competition, and participate in some kind of narrative campaign that will see players disrupting the establishment looking to demolish their hometown.
A huge boon forSTORROR Parkour Prois that many of its game modes will also be playable in online multiplayer, whether that’s cooperatively in missions or competitively in head-to-head races. Players will also be able to customize their own Parkour Pro, earning different outfits as they progress through the game’s missions and participate in open-world challenges.
STORROR Parkour Pro’s Journey is Just Beginning
As mentioned a few times, whenSTORROR Parkour Prolaunches in Q1 2025, it’ll be heading intoSteam Early Access. According to its Steam store page,Parkour Prowill remain in early access for around 6–12 months, with the developers hoping to use community feedback to help fine-tune the game’s innovative movement system. DuringParkour Pro’s early access period, developer Hole in the Sleeve will also release some behind-the-scenes videos detailing the development journey.
