How to Find Salt in Towers of Aghasba
Salt can be found by harvestingSalt Depositsformed inCoastal and Underwater regionsinTowers of Aghasba. If you’ve just started playing the game, you’ll find Salt Deposits on the east coast of Amani Island. Begin by heading to the eastern side of the mini-map (check the bottom right of the screen and run in that direction). As you move forward, you’ll notice white, salty mountains—this is a sign you’re going the right way. Simply get past these mountains to reach the shoreline and take a turn on the right side.
Remember to bring your Wooden Bow with you, as you’ll likely encounter spiders along the way and near the shore. The Wooden Bow is given to you by Hoa during the’Unleash the Hunter Within' quest, so it should already be in your inventory.
Once you’re at the salt beach, look along the coastline for Salt Deposits. These are salty, crystal-like structures that form near the water. When you find one,use your Stone Pickaxeto break it by pressing the‘E’ button. If you don’t have a Stone Pickaxe yet, you can craft one usingStone, Sticks, and Fiberin the Craft section of your inventory.
After hitting a Salt Deposit, you’ll receive two bowls of salt and sometimes a few Strange Seeds. However, you may only find three Salt Deposits in the area. Also, in the early-access version, Salt Deposits take a long time to respawn, so it’s wise to harvest them whenever you come across one during your journey in Aghasba.
