So, spending those precious coupons on food is definitely a waste, since money is the most valuable resource in the game. Coupons are used to buy ammoand repair/upgrade equipment, and that’s about everything players should use it for, since the rest can be found in Stashes all across the zone.
2Vodka
There’s Plenty To Be Found Around
Vodka is used to cure RadiationinSTALKER 2, so it’s like the Rad-Away of this game. It can be found everywhere. No matter where players look, there’s no way they don’t trip with a bottle, or six.
Opening crates with the Knife is a predictable unboxing since every time players will find either Sausages or Vodka. Maybe the occasional beer or Water, but most definitely Vodka. So, there’s no way players should be wasting coupons on this beverage. Instead, they will promptly feel the need to sell it in large quantities.
3Beer
Alcohol Doesn’t Seem To Be Scarce In The Zone
The same problem with Vodka, Beer is not what players will be looking for in the Zone, but they will stumble upon it anyway. Not only wooden crates are crawling with these beverages, but players will find tons of them lying around on the floor, in bars, in enemy lairs - everywhere.
Since beer is like Vodka, used to cure Radiation, players willsee themselves drinking their problems away(which most definitely shouldn’t be seen as healthy). Since there is so much Beer to share with the folks of the Zone, they shouldn’t worry about needing to buy more.
4Anti-Radiation Drugs
Vodka Is Better, And Tastier
Anti-Rad Pills are quite scarce, and players might find themselves needing them for certain secondary quests and objectives (some NPCs demand them in exchange for critical info or special items) so, although they’re quite scarce, buying them should be a low priority anyway.
Players might be wondering why. The answer is simple: Vodka (and Beer) can cure Radiation and they’re littered around the zone in dangerous quantities. So why spend those hard-earned coupons on miracle drugs when other items can do just as well?
5Bandages
The Most Common Healing Item In The Zone
InSTALKER 2, bandages arelying around in abnormal quantities. For a post-apocalyptic setting, that is most definitely strange. Every time players visit a trader, they should instead sell all the exceeding amount of bandages they have for coupons.
There’s no way that players don’t have less than 30 bandages at all times with them in their backpacks. If they don’t, then they’re not doing enough looting, andSTALKER 2is all about looting. Every human enemy in the game carries at least one bandage with them, and by the time players pick up a Sapphire Artifact, they will be less concerned with bleeding and accumulate even more of these consumables. Sell away, don’t waste coupons buying them.
6Med-Kits
Second To Bandages Only In Quantity, They’re Everywhere
Med-Kits are the equivalent of Vodka and Beer in the Healing Consumable Category; there can be up to three units per each of the MedBoxes players find. Those can be cracked open with a knife, so players don’t even need to waste bullets on them.
Med-Kits come in three colors: Red, Yellow, and Blue. Red are the common MedKits, Yellow are the Scientific Med-Kits that will also cure Radiation, and Blue are the Military Med-Kits that will also cure bleeding. Be it as it may, there are tons of them, so players shouldn’t worry about buying more.
7Regular Weapons
There Are So Many Weapons Around You Cannot Carry Them All
Players will find that not being able to carry everything they find will be more of a problem than locating scarce resources. But the reality is that Regular Weapons (those that can be looted from enemies, Stashes, and are lying around) are not scarce.

When the game starts, players do not own a Gas Mask, they’re just equipped with basic Body Armor. So naturally, they would want to rush buying a Mask and a better protective suit, but don’t do that!
Armor and Masks will be delivered upon completing the first important task for either The Ward or the Stalkers in Zalissya in theBehind Seven Seals Mission. No matter who the players choose to side with, they’ll get better equipment real fast. Then, there’s a lot of extra gear to loot around, so buying it is a waste of coupons. Save for weapon tweaking and upgrading instead, which is the most expensive thing in the game.
