No one can ever forget the incredible performances of Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, and Colin Farrell inThe Penguin, who brought each character to life in the most unique and remarkable way possible. Although the HBO series mostly focused on Oz Cobb’s story,Sofia Falcone stole the showin many scenes with her heartbreaking narrative and bid for revenge on her mobster family, as did Vic, who lost his family due to the Riddler’s attack on Gotham City.No one could really call any of the characters fromThe Penguin"adorable" or “cute”, but one artist has turned the series' main cast into endearing caricatures who look like they have stepped out of ananimated Pixar movie.
In a post on Instagram, concept artist and 3D modeler at Warner Bros Games, Gabriel Soares, has recreated Sofia, Vic, and Oz as the perfect animated film characters. While Oz Cobb is still recognizable as the Kingpin of Gotham smoking a cigar, Sofia wearing her iconic and dramatic red outfit, and Vic in his blue tracksuit, the artist has planted a great idea if Pixar ever wanted to go down the villain route and create an entireThe Penguinanimated moviein their beloved cherubic art style. However, poor Vic may need to be resurrected for that idea to work though.
As of now,The Penguinseason two hasn’t been announced, amid the cries of fans for the series to continue. Due to how the show ended withSofia in Arkham Asylum reading a letter from Seline Kyle, speculation now is that Catwoman could come to her rescue, which could see the pair teaming up to bring Oz Cobb to his knees if a second season does go ahead, or it could be setting up a scene forThe Batman Part 2. Either way, even though the series is now over, it still shows what an important impact it has had on new and old DC fans.
