The Mad Priest is one of the Vatican City’s Fieldwork side quest inIndiana Jones and the Great Circle. Indy needs to help Sister Catherine by retrieving the Diary of Father Crescenzo, a priest from the 16th century who was researching giants and fallen angels and was believed to have gone mad while completing an assignment.
Dr. Jones will require some help retrieving the diary as it is inaccessible, and only Antonio can help by handing him the SewersKey inIndiana Jones and the Great Circle.The Mad Priestside quest will reward you with some Adventure Points, which you can use to unlock abilities in the Journal.
The Mad Priest Fieldwork side quest is triggered by either reading Catherine’s Letter in the Post Office where you bought the camera or speaking with Sister Catherine herself in the Sistine Chapel. If you pick up the letter, head to the Chapel and speak with the Nun to proceed with thequest inIndiana Jones and the Great Circle. Indy can use the nearby sign boards and fast-travel to the garden near the Sistine Chapel.
Climb the stairs and enter the room filled with nuns and priests to find your target sitting on a chair to the side, complaining. The Sister is annoyed that Antonio was supposed to send a delivery boy with the Diary of Father Crescenzo. Indiana promises her then that he will get the diary for her.
How To Get The Sewers Key In Indiana Jones And The Great Circle
Get out of the building andfast-travel to the Belvedere Courtyard. Next, head to Antonio’s office and speak with him about the situation. He says the Diary has been taken from him to the Apostolic Palace and hands you the Sewers Key. Indy needs to reach the Palace using the Sewers through the Tower of Nicholas the Fifth.
Follow the map and enter through the door across the billboard where Indy can find a missing cat poster, which triggers a Mystery. Upon entering the tower, go right down the stairs to reach the Sewers. A guard will be sleeping on the other side, but he won’t wake up. Use the newly acquired Sewers Key and unlock the door, then proceed forward until you reach a submerged platform with a bridge.
Cross the bridge and jump to hang on the wooden ledge. Trail to the right and then climb the pipe, then go right until the pipe falls. Use this to your advantage and hang from it to use the whip on the nearby hook.
Swing to the pipe splattered with white and climb it to the wooden platform. Wait for yourstamina to regenerate, then use the whip to hang from the next platform and go up the whip to reach the top. Finally, throw the whip around the pipe and swing to the wooden platform. Afterward, take these steps:
