S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobylhasplenty of main quests, but also some side quests to extend your time in the game. One of the side quests that will see players making choices that affect the amount of rewards they will finish with isThe Lost Boys.
The Lost Boys is a side mission that you’re able to pick up from theNPC known as Lens— who can be found inZalissya within the Lesser Zone region. Speak with him and ask if he has any work, followed by saying you’ll do the work. This will start the side quest.
Mastiff’s Group’s Last Run
You will need toget to the location of Mastiff’s group’s last run. This objective will become marked off once you enter the bunker at the marked location on your map — be sure tohave a medkitbefore heading inside; you will need to offer it to an NPC. Inside this bunker, you will find two doors — one of them being locked. Head through the door opposite the locked one for now. Take the first left you come to and you’ll enter a room with a fuse box that you can interact with. You will need a fuse, which you can find in a pack that is right outside the door of the room with the fusebox.
Head west in order tolook for the survivor,and you will pass through a room filled with electrical anomalies. You can use bolts to trigger them to make it to the other side safely. You will come to some stairs, but do not go down them just yet. Look over the railing, and you will see some enemies you can provoke. They will make their way to the stairs, which will allow you to take them out as they run towards you.
You will find Max Saturday at the far side of the room, to whom you will give the medkit. Max is a member of Masiff’s group of differs, which is not one ofthe game’s many main factions. You will now need tofind Mastiff. Head up the metal stairs and flip the switch for a door to open to more electric currents. Use more bolts and then head to the far other side to leave the bunker. Open your map and head to the side quest’s marker on the map, where you will find a house and plenty of hostile enemy dogs.
To the east of this house will be a shed. Break the lock and enter the shed to find a tunnel leading underground. There is also someammo to find. Use this tunnel to gain access to the house where you will find Mastiff lying on a bed — you can also check out the attic as an optional objective. Once you are done, head back to speak with Lens to finish up the mission.
Check the Attic
Players that go up to check the attic will find Ninth. Players will have multiple options here, where they can attack Ninth, offer to help him fend off some attacks, or side with the attackers themselves. Siding with the attackers will net you some coupons, while siding with Ninth will get you Rubber Coating — which can be used to upgrade one ofthe game’s many types of weapons.
