UnlockLevelCurve Baldur’s Gate 3

8UnlockLevelCurve

Grants Levels 13-20 For Players

Part of the thrill ofbeing a Dungeon Masteris watching your players grow throughout the campaign. While it’s certainly not expected for campaigns to run to level 20 - they actually usually end around 12-15, by this point the DM should have established enough of the setting that - if they wish - they can continue the players' story through to level 20.

Baldur’s Gate 3was entirely justified in ending at level 12, but this mod rebalances the levels to extend to 20, including 5e faithful class features and resource bonuses to give these extra 8 levels impact.

Faeruncolors Baldur’s Gate 3

7FaerunColors

Adds A Host Of New, Vibrant Dyes

One of the best ways to customize your armors inBaldur’s Gate 3is to dye them. This mod is one of the most vibrant and fascinating additions to the customization options in the game, granting a plethora of new dyes.

Each dye is named after a Faerun god, a notable character, or a notable faction of some kind, and they all fit in seamlessly as high-quality, lore-friendly dyes. A great mod for any player to install.

Mystra’s Spells Baldur’s Gate 3

6Mystra’s Spells

5e Faithful Spells To Utilize In-Game

Baldur’s Gate 3is a massive game, but there’s something to keep in mind when saying this. It is massive in the sense that it has taken an incredibly large portion of 5th Edition D&D and faithfully adapted it into a video game format. A large portion - not necessarily the tabletop game’s content entirely.

This is where Mystra’s Spells comes in, a great mod that provides some fantastic additionsto this game’s spells, transferring many 5e spells over in a way that remains true to the BG3 interpretation of game mechanics.

Kay’s Hair Extensions Baldur’s Gate 3

5Kay’s Hair Extensions

Adds A Great Level Of Variety To Characters

The amount of customization options in this game is truly monumental, and no two characters will ever look the same across playthroughs (unless the player is doing some kind of meta-narrative where their dream visitor looks exactly like them).

Kay’s Hair Extensions does a great job of further diversifying the options available to players with a great number of supplementary hair additions that can be added to any base hairstyle. They even have their own physics, making them look natural and immersive.

Mystic Baldur’s Gate 3

4Mystic Class

An Excellent, Adapted New Class

Hidden in the murky shadows of Unearthed Arcana and the many snippets of D&D left on the cutting room flooris the mystic. Theoretically playable, but comically overpowered if implemented in its UA state for a game.

This makes the Mystic class a twofold boon to D&D fans. It adds a new, playable, immersive class to the game that fits BG3’s aesthetic, but it also realizes a long-lost class in a way that is balanced and useable, keeping the unique resource of the class without being the messy monstrosity that the UA class was left at.

Better Inventory UI Baldur’s Gate 3

3Better Inventory UI

A More Manageable Interface For Mac Users

There’s a lot of everything inBaldur’s Gate 3.A lot of weapons, a lot of consumables, a lot of burdens to bear. The game does a good job of sorting these all through the inventory, but a good job doesn’t mean a great job can’t be achieved.

This mod changes up the UI to make it efficient and spacious while still conveying all the same information it did in its vanilla iteration. It’s a fantastic mod for those who are frequently swapping through items or changing out equipment to take on their travels.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Inspiration Uncapped

2Inspirations Uncapped

A Great Boon For Players

Inspiration is a vital tool for roleplaying and immersion inBaldur’s Gate 3. Acting in a way that aligns with your background is satisfying, and mechanically rewarded with a free re-roll on a failed ability check.

It is, however, typically capped at 4 points of inspiration at one time. This mod removes such a cap, allowing players to accumulate as much inspiration as they’re able, banking the inspiration for tricky quests or a series of skill checks they’re unfamiliar with.

Weightless Consumables Baldur’s Gate 3

1Weightless Consumables

An Essential Quality Of Life Improvement

Baldur’s Gate 3teaches playersa lot of lessonsabout what can make a goodD&Dgame - not least of all is the lesson that sometimes focusing on the minutiae of things like carry weight is actually good for immersion and realism.

Some players don’t care for the inconvenience that comes with having to play inventory Tetris because they’re .5kg over the carry weight, however. This mod allows players to not sweat the small stuff as consumables no longer affect carry weight.
