Best Light Cone
Back to all Characters
Like most Harmony characters inHonkai: Star Rail, Sunday is a powerful Support that specializes in boosting characters. Players looking to pull for him are in for a treat because of the damage bonuses he brings to their main DPS and their summons. To capitalize on his phenomenal abilities, here are the best Light Cones for Sunday inHSR.
S5 Effect
After entering battle, increases the ATK of all allies by 12%. Abilities of the same type cannot stack.
A staple amongst all the Harmony 3-star Light Cones, Chorus is a great option for players who are new toHSR. Since new players might have difficulty obtaining other 4-stars, starting off with this can be a safe enough option.
When equipped with the relevant Harmony character, it gives allies on the team an ATK Bonus of 8%. This will be highly useful when trying him out early in the game before you switch to a better option to maximize his abilities.
When the wearer uses their Ultimate, all allies' actions are Advanced Forward by 24%.
This Light Cone isa usual pick for most Harmony characters, as its base ability is to advance all allies' actions when the wearer uses their Ultimate. Sunday will be able to easily trigger this effect, and this is especially true during battles with enemies that have high speed and turn priority.
Players can obtain this Light Cone through the Gacha, and it’s a solid option for a 4-star when starting off in the early game.
When the wearer uses their Skill, the next ally taking action (except the wearer) deals 32% increased DMG for 1 turn(s).
As one of the best F2P Light Cones players can obtain, Past and Future provides a damage increase of 16% to the ally who acts immediately after Sunday casts his skill (keep in mind that his Skill advances an ally forward and buffs their attack for two turns).
Superimposing this Light Cone will enhance its passive effect, but players need to ensure to change the team rotations if they do plan to use this Light Cone. The rotations need to be in such a way that Sunday gets a turn before the DPS comes on the field.
Effect
Increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 10% and regenerates 1 Skill Point when the wearer uses their Ultimate on an ally. This effect can be triggered once after every 2 uses of the wearer’s Ultimate. When the wearer uses their Skill, the next ally taking action (except the wearer) deals 30% more DMG for 1 turn(s).
For a 5-star Light Cone that might take some investment,Bronya’s signature, But The Battle Isn’t Over, has various perks that work extremely well with Sunday’s Kit. It increases Sunday’s Energy Regeneration, regenerates a skill pointevery two uses of his Ultimate, and also increases his allies' damage when using his skill.
It’s an LC that comes with a lot of capabilities, and Sunday can clearly utilize its passive with the amount of Energy that will keep his Ultimate ready to use as much as possible.
Increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 32%. At the start of the battle, the wearer gains Mask, lasting for 3 turn(s). While the wearer has Mask, the wearer’s allies have their CRIT Rate increased by 10% and their CRIT DMG increased by 28%. For every 1 Skill Point the wearer recovers (including Skill Points that exceed the limit), they gain 1 stack of Radiant Flame. And when the wearer has 4 stacks of Radiant Flame, all the stacks are removed, and they gain Mask, lasting for 4 turn(s).
An alternate option to Bronya’s signature, Light Cone, is using Sparkle’s signature, Earthly Escapade. This is a limited 5-star Light Cone, and it might be hard to get unless Sparkle’s banner is running, but if players have this Light Cone and have no character to use it on, Sunday is a great choice.
The Light Cone increases Sunday’s Critical Damage whilst also increasing an ally’s Critical Rate and Damage. This lasts for three turns, and players can make use of this Light Cone until they manage to get Bronya’s one.
After the wearer uses Skill or Ultimate on one ally character, the wearer regenerates 6.0 Energy and the ability’s target receives 1 stack of “Hymn” for 3 turn(s), stacking up to 3 time(s). Each stack of “Hymn” increases its holder’s DMG dealt by 15%. After every 2 instance(s) of Skill or Ultimate the wearer uses on one ally character, recovers 1 Skill Point.
As his signature Light Cone, A Grounded Ascent is tailor-made for Sunday and his unique kit. It’s the best LC you can put on him, because when Sunday uses his Skill or Ultimate on an ally, they regenerate 6 Energy and gain a Hymn stack. This means that the ally character will then experience a 15% damage increase, which willlast up to three turns.
What’s more is that Sunday willrecover a Skill point after every two uses of his Skill or Ultimate. Sunday’s kit makes himshine as an extreme buffer, and the best LC that gets him there is his signature.
