The Hydrodynamics Lab is a location in the northeast corner ofSTALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl’s Zaton region, and there is a Scientists' Stash in one of its buildings. To access that stash, players must enter a four-digit code into a keypad on the front of the building, and they may be confused about how that code is determined. STALKER 2: Hydrodynamics Lab Code (Scientists' Stash)
Players who are looking for the Hydronamics Lab code should begin by entering the location’scentral building. After defeating the enemies on the first floor of this building,STALKERfansshould make their way to thesouthwest corner. There is astairwellin that part of the building, which players should use to climb to thesecond floor.
As players explore the second floor, they will encounter aController, a mutant that uses psi attacks to cause Skiff to hallucinate. Ideally, fans will havePsi-Blockpills on hand, which can be used to prevent the ill effects caused by the Controller’s attacks, though they are not required. Indeed, as long as the player is aggressive, and focuses on bringing the Controller down quickly, they should be able to defeat the mutant without using anyconsumables inSTALKER 2.
It is likely that several zombies will appear upon attacking the Controller, and players should be prepared to deal with those additional enemies.
Once the Controller is slain, players should interact with its body and collect theElectronic Collarfrom it. This action will add theCollar Tag Text noteto Skiff’s PDA, and that note is the key to determining the Hydrodynamics Lab code and reaching the associatedstash inSTALKER 2.
More specifically, players that view the Collar Tag Text note in the PDA will see two sets of numbers: 48 and 24. Putting those numbers together yields the sequence4824, and players should input those four digits into the keypad on the front of the small building in the Hydrodynamics Lab’s southwest corner. Fans should then press the green button on the keypad to open the building’s door and gain access to a room in which the Scientists' Stash can be found.
