How to Get an AR416 Monolith Assault Rifle Early in Stalker 2
Players can find the AR416 “Monolith” assault rifle from aJournalist Cache inside the SphereinStalker 2. Sphere is a military outpost located in the Lesser Zone region whereSkiff confronts Solder in the “Beyond Seven Seals” main mission. However, players must be cautious while entering this installation as several soldiers are guarding it, even after completing the said mission.
Taking Down the Patrolling Soldiers
After entering through the northwest I.P.S.F outpost entrance, players must be wary of a couple of soldiers patrolling the outpost. It’s difficult to sneak past them as, apparently, they can spot Skif very easily.
If a confrontation occurs, you must take down the soldiers first before trying toget to the Journalist Stashas it’s in the open, and make Skif an easy target for soldiers.
Go up the Ladder & Open the Cache
Once all the soldiers are taken out, players will have some breathing roof before another wave of soldiers spawns. Quickly follow the left wall of the Sphere until you spot an I.P.S.F container. Behind said container, there’s a rusted ladder leading to the roof of a small cabin.
After going up the stairs, players will spot the Journalist stash up ahead. Opening up the stash will get players the AR416 Monolith assault rifle and some ammo. After grabbing the stash, you should quickly make your escape from the sphere before another group of soldiers starts shooting at Skif.
How to Upgrade the AR416 Monolith Assault Rifle
It’s a great assault rifle that players should upgrade from Diode at Slag Heap in the Garbage region. Trying to get it upgraded from Lens in Zalissya will give up a message, “The Technician cannot' install this upgrade.” Another great thing about the A416 Monolith is that players can immediately use a Holo sight on it without worrying aboutinstalling a scope mount.
