Almost all mutants from the OGStalkergames were remade and made a comeback inStalker 2: Heart of Chornobylto terrify players. However, one particular type of enemy can either turn invisible or already are near-invisible. Obviously, this makes them hard to spot, and even harder to deal with. Although they’re some of the tougher enemies in the game, once you understand their attack patterns, they become significantly easier to take down. Even though fighting them is tough, let’s check out the strategies to beat each invisible enemy inStalker 2.
How to Beat Invisible Enemies in Stalker 2
Players encounter both of the invisible enemies,BloodsuckerandPoltergeist, during theintro mission “There And Back Again"ofStalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Fans of the series may have already recognized these horrifying mutants immediately, but others might have been taken by surprise by their sudden appearance.
For higher-difficulty modes, the strategies below will remain the same, but the invisible enemies will do increased damage to players and take more damage before they’re down. So make sure you have enough medkits and bandages to keep the fight going.
How to Beat the Bloodsuckers
Bloodsuckers are the harder of the two invisible enemies to deal with, as they’re fast and do a lot of damage with their claws. Although ARs or SMGs work fine, shotguns will be the best weaponto take these enemies down, sincethe Bloodsucker attacks at close range.
How to Beat Poltergeists
Unlike Bloodsuckers, who can manifest their physical bodies before turning invisible again,Poltergeists are a bit different. They aren’t completely invisible, but mostly stay in a gas cloud form, attacking players by throwing objects at them with their telekinesis abilities. Anyautomatic weapons like ARs and SMGswill work well on these enemies.
That’s how you defeat all the invisible enemies inStalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Although learning their attack patterns can get a little tricky, with enough encounters, you’ll be taking them down in no time.
