With Nintendo’s introduction ofupdate v9.2.0, players can now tapSplatoon 3amiiboof key characters like Callie, Marie, and Big Man to save their Grand Festival memories offline. This feature lets fans relive festival moments without needing an internet connection. Several main weapons, sub-weapons, and special weapons also got adjustments to improve balance and usability. For example, weapons like the Splattershot series now shoot faster and farther, and the Luna Blaster’s explosion radius has been increased for better effectiveness in battles. The L-3 Nozzlenose’s ink consumption was reduced by 4%, while the Goo Tuber saw a reduction in the time it requires to fully charge.

Splatoon 3’s sub-weaponslike the Autobomb and Angle Shooter have been fine-tuned to make them more useful strategically. Special weapons also received updates, like the Booyah Bomb, which can now charge faster, has a wider explosion radius, and deal approximately 33% increased damage when targeting Big Bubblers. Moreover, some changes have been made to the points required for activating certain special weapons, aiming at a more balanced experience.

Splatoon 3’s Salmon Run’s communication has been improved, cutting down the delay between collecting Golden Eggs and using them. In addition, Tricolor Turf War during Splatfests now shows the names and icons of opposing attackers, making it easier to plan strategies and work as a team. The patch also fixes several bugs, including issues with terrain interactions, special weapon activations, and cosmetic display errors. Other fixes include aligning character positions during fast-paced actions and stabilizing amiibo interactions to provide a smoother overall experience for players.

Additionally, the patch fixes an issue where using Kraken Royale to charge diagonally from above at a Splash Wall placed diagonally by an opponent sometimes wouldn’t deal damage. The fix ensures the charge hits the wall properly as intended. With the new patch now available, players can dive back intoSplatoon 3to experience these updates firsthand.
