How To Beat Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar In Genshin Impact
To beat Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar inGenshin Impact, you’ll have toavoid their Obsidian Storm at all costs. You start the boss fight with four torches scattered around you in the arena. Every 30 to 40 seconds, the boss will teleport to the middle of the arena, levitate, and start charging for their Obsidian Storm. During that state,the four torches will freezeas random Cryo typhoons start roaming around the arena. After a few seconds, the Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar will start hitting really hard with their Obsidian Storm and continuously draining the active character’s HP.
To avoid the Obsidian Storm, you can do either of these:
Sometimes, the boss starts cheating by trying to summon their Obsidian Storm immediately after you take them down. So, good luck with that.

The Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar has threeAchievements inGenshin Impact. You get the first one by defeating the boss, and it rewards you with 5 Primogems. The second is one of the hardest Achievements, as you need to beat the Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar without melting any of the torches during the entire boss fight. To bypass that,you’ll need to use a character from the Masters of the Night-Wind clanto free a torch without melting the ice on it. You can also try to quickly melt the boss’ Cryo shield, which can be hard to achieve without a torch.
If the second Achievement is one of the hardest, then the third one is even harder. Beating the Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar without being hit once with their Obsidian Storm is extremely hard but achievable if you bring characters that are good enough to constantly deal with the torch and melt the shield. Believe it or not,the best character that can easily get you the third achievement is Amber. When casting her Elemental Burst,Amber will spam Pyro hitsfor four seconds, instantly melting the Cryo shield. If you have her C1, Amber also shoots two Pyro Charged attacks, which also melt the shields quicker than other characters.
Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar Location In Genshin Impact
you may find the Spirit of the Fallen Dawnstar southwest of the Masters of the Night-Wind area. You’ll need to climb a mountain near the beach to find the Obsidian Totem. Bring a Portable Waypoint with you to place next to the Totem as you do the challenge and Achievements. You’ll need it since it’s going to be a long, hard fight, and you’ll have toregularly heal your characterswith no Waypoints next to the Totem.
