Rather than fail a stealth-focused mission outright,Star Wars Outlawsnow gives players the choice to escalate the situation into combat or change their stealth tactics on the fly. Along with the stealth changes, Kay can now carry a two-handed weapon in more situations, and weak points were added to different enemies, which players can exploit to bring fights to an explosive end.
Although some issues withStar Wars Outlawswere addressed on Ubisoft’s side, players have reported issues with a major platform that the game is on. According toMicrosoft’s list of known issues, Windows 11 users who updated to version 24H2 may encounter issues with five Ubisoft titles, as the games could freeze at any point during gameplay. Microsoft stated that users reported a black screen as one of the signs of a crash, which forced them to use the Task Manager to close the game completely. The affected games includeStar Wars Outlaws,Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and threeAssassin’s Creedtitles;Origins,Odyssey, andValhalla.
Which Ubisoft Games May Crash On Windows 11 24H2?
Ubisoft reported that temporary fixes have been made forStar Wars Outlawsto prevent the game from crashing outright, though some performance issues may persist. Microsoft also placed a temporary “compatibility hold” on PCs that had not updated to Windows 11 24H2 but had any of the affected games installed on their systems. Microsoft also asked affected users not to use the Windows 11 Installation Assistant or the Media Creation tools as a way to manually update to version 24H2 untilall the aforementioned Ubisoft titleshave been fixed on the platform.
