This character essentially acts as a middle man between the player and the Stormcloaks, a faction that aims to free the game’s eponymous setting from the ruling Empire.
Ralof’s Imperial counterpart is Hadvar, regarded by many as being among the most noblechampions of good and order in the entireElder Scrollsfranchise. While not full-fledged companions, both Hadvar and Ralof will fight alongside the Dragonborn depending on what side they choose in the civil war.

The sixth numbered installment in the series will only be available on PC and Xbox systems, according to leaked documents from the Federal Trade Commission’s dropped lawsuit against Microsoft over the tech giant’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard. This upcoming title, which could launch as early as 2026 according to court documents, will have a difficult time meeting fans’ expectations once it does reach the market because it will be compared with its predecessors, former Bethesda Senior Game Designer Bruce Nesmith said.
