Sea of Thievesis a multiplayer pirate adventurewhere players explore, fight, and loot across an open world. Now, the developer has released a new update that brings even more improvements and additions to the game.
Sea of Thievesupdate 3.2.1 introduces a “first-week bonus” for players who log in shortly after an update, offering extra gold and Doubloons. There’s also a new “Voyage of Luck,” a monthly quest where players can find a rare Golden Map that will lead them to some ofSea of Thieves’ highest-value treasures. Moreover, Pirate Legends will get an exclusive Legendary Voyage of Luck for Athena’s Fortune, with equally rare rewards.
Additionally,theSea of ThievesPirate Emporiumhas new and returning items, including the Ancestral Ship Set, a Gorgon Weapon Bundle, and seasonal favorites like Festival of Plenty instruments and pet outfits. Players can also grab a “Banana Banter” emote bundle and a free “No Thoughts” emote. Now, the Outpost vendors have fresh Ironwood Carpenter’s weaponry and Cinched Shirts in different colors. Update 3.2.1 also brings improved optimization for PlayStation 5 Pro players, offering smoother 4K gameplay with up to 120Hz refresh rates on compatible displays, and it adds DualSense controller support for PC players.
Finally, as inpreviousSea of Thievesupdates, this one also includes several fixes, such as improvements to disguise mechanics and better functionality for the Grapple Gun and Blowpipe. Now, disguised players appear correctly to others, and disguises can no longer be used while flying through the air. Fixes also address environmental and interface issues, ensuring players can’t bypass obstacles with the Grapple Gun and improving the visuals of certain cosmetics. The user interface has been updated with new sketches in the Captain’s Logbook and adjusted music volume for a more balanced audio experience.
