Teyvat stories are always interesting inGenshin Impact. One of the main reasons is the vast majority of lore spread around waiting for you to explore, and these stories don’t always revolve around the characters. Sometimes, NPCs carry some of the best tales to tell. From Jeht and Ruu to Kazari, many of theseNPCs are memorable forGenshin Impact’s players.
Natlan also has some well-written NPCs who further reveal more ofGenshin Impact’s lore. One of these NPCs is a warrior from the Flower-Feather Clan, calledQuenin. As you explore Ochkanatlan, you’ll meet him and slowly uncover what happened to him and his team in this region.
Quenin Locations in Genshin Impact
You can find Quenin infive locations around Ochkanatlan inGenshin Impact.You can tackle these locations in a random order. Once you meet with Quenin five times, you’ll unlock his hidden mission,Twisted Extension quest inGenshin Impact.
Quenin Location 1
To find Quenin in his first location, teleport to the northern Cradle of Fleeting Dreams Waypoint and move northeast until you find a Tenebrous Mimesis enemy. If you get close enough, the monster is going to start the fight and Quenin will join shortly after.Defeat the enemyto unlock a dialog from Quenin. He’ll introduce himself and tell you how inhuman these monsters are.
Quenin Location 2
The second location for Quenin inGenshin Impactis near the far eastern Ochkanatlan Waypoint. From there,go west and descendto find a gap withtwo Ruin Guards standing before each other.
Fight them to summon Quenin and he’ll help you defeat them. You’ll unlock another dialog where he’ll address that this place is really cursed and urge the Traveler to leave before the coming of the pitch-black tide, saying it’s a vast shadow. Quenin further explains that they must evacuate everybody before that event takes place.
Quenin Location 3
Quenin’s third location is next to the Ochkanatlan Waypoint, at the island’s center. From the broken bridge next to the Waypoint,jump down from the left sideto thebroken tower underneath and you’ll find a purple mechanism. Press it to open the door, which will summon a Tenebrous Mimesis enemy.
After the fight, open the Exquisite chest inside the broken tower, and it will summon another Tenebrous Mimesis, this time with Quenin. After this fight, Quenin is worried about why the Traveler still lingers in this place and asks them again to leave immediately.
Quenin Location 4
You can use the southern Cradle of Fleeting Dreams Waypoint tojump downto the fourth Quenin Location inGenshin Impact. The fall is long since the Waypoint is on the island peak.
As you get closer to the ground, you can notice the purple legs of an enemy stuck in the ground. Touch them to start another fight with Quenin by your side. From his fourth dialogue, it seems that Quenin is struggling with understanding what’s going on around him while the game is hinting that he’s long gone from this place.
Quenin Location 5
For Quenin’s fifth location inGenshin Impact, teleport to the same Waypoint as the first location, which is the northern Cradle of Fleeting Dreams Waypoint. This time, take your west and jump down until you find a chest between two sick Hilichurls. Open it, and an enemy will spawn alongside Quenin.
After the fight, Quenin starts speaking nonsense as he tries to keep his consciousness alive. Eventually, he’ll mention he’s going to the waterfall.
Twisted Extension Quest In Genshin Impact
Players can trigger theTwisted Extension quest inGenshin Impactafter finding Quenin in the aforementioned five locations. Now, head to the waterfall Quenin mentioned, which is inside the Vision Serpent’s Sanctum. This area is a part of the Adventure in theLand of Mists inGenshin Impact. You have to solve a puzzle to reach the end of the Sanctum to find the Waterfall.
There’s a Waypoint there that leads immediately to Quenin’s small tent. Go there tofind Quenin’s Diary and start the hidden quest.
Who Am I? Achievement In Genshin Impact
Following Quenin’s Twisted Extension quest,follow the waterfall and destroy the breakable wall to find Quenin’s body. This time, Quenin will spawn himself against you. Defeating Quenin will complete the quest and reward players with theWho Am I? Achievement inGenshin Impact.
