This will always be a little more prevalent in live-service games, where new content is released extremely frequently. Just recently, anotherCall of Duty: Black Ops 6player discovered a serious suppressor bug, making the attachment completely useless. The good news is that Treyarch is releasing updates for the game on a near-daily basis, meaning glitches are being patched out as quickly as they’re being found.
As noticed on Reddit, the Time of Death charm featured in the Death Rattle bundle has a massive glitch. This charm keeps track of players' kill count throughout a match, which, in multiplayer, isn’t an issue. However, using Time of Death on anyCall of Duty: Black Ops 6Zombies mapcauses huge issues when the kill count passes 1,000. In footage captured by one player, the FPS completely tanks to an unplayable rate, and the entire HUD disappears. It even looks like the tracker screen on the charm itself goes black, too. Switching to their secondary weapon fixes the bug, but it returns whenever they go back to their primary. According to the player, saving and quitting doesn’t solve the issue, either.
The Time of Death Charm in Black Ops 6 is Massively Bugged
While the exact cause of thisCall of Duty: Black Ops 6glitchcan’t be guaranteed, it does seem likely that passing that 1,000-kill mark is the catalyst for causing this issue. No player is going to reach 1,000 kills in a multiplayer match, so if it’s programmed with that in mind, then it wouldn’t be a problem. However, 1,000 kills in Zombies is more than achievable - an oversight on the developers' part. Any player looking to use the Time of Death charm in Zombies should hold off until this problem is addressed.
The good news is that Treyarch continues to release frequentupdates forCall of Duty: Black Ops 6. Now that the Time of Death glitch is out into the wild, it likely won’t be long before the studio is able to release a fix. This depends on the complexity of the specific issue, of course, but it’s difficult to imagine this being a particularly huge fix.
