The official announcement comes from The Pokemon Company, which says that the new version ofPokemon TVwill go live on December 6. ThePokemon TVYouTube channelis already available to view, with a description stating that viewers will be able to “explore the world of Pokemon with Ash and Pikachu.”

Further details are unknown as of this writing, but the page’s description seems to imply that the new incarnation ofPokemon TVwill be focused on the originalPokemonseries for the time being. Last year,viewers said goodbye to Ash and Pikachuas the anime rebooted withPokemon Horizons: The Series. This new show is based on thePokemon Scarlet and Violetgames and focuses on a new set of protagonists, Liko and Roy, as they set off on a new adventure in the Paldea region.

For now though, it looks like the newPokemon TVwill instead stream episodes from Ash and Pikachu’s 25-season journey through the world ofPokemonin the classic anime when it starts posting content on December 6.
