First reported byPokeBeach(andcorroborated by VGC),Pokemon TCG Pocketis currently hosting a Fire Pokemon Mass Outbreak event until Wednesday, November 27 at 9:59 PM local time. While the event is active, players can use Wonder Picks to add Fire Pokemon cards to their collection. The free Bonus Picks that players can pull from will have cards like Charmander, Magmar, and Ninetales. Each time the Wonder Pick selections refresh, the Rare Pick section will be available for three Wonder Stamina. The elusive Arcanine EX card can be pulled from the Rare Picks, along with Charizard and Moltres. Arcanine EX has 150 HP and can use the powerful Inferno Onrush attack to deal 120 damage to its target at the cost of inflicting 20 HP in recoil damage to itself.
As players participate inthe Fire Pokemon Mass Outbreak, they will also complete Missions that can grant Wonder Hourglasses, which in turn are used to recharge Wonder Stamina. Along with the Fire Pokemon card event,Pokemon TCG Pockethas reduced the price of Poke Gold, the game’s microtransaction currency, until December 1. Poke Gold can be used instead of Wonder Hourglasses to quickly refill Wonder Stamina, giving players another way to get the cards they desire.
With aBulbasaur event coming down the pipeline,Pokemon TCG Pocketis showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. It remains to be seen what the game’s 2025 plans will entail.
