While thanking the community for their support, the message went on to reveal some upcoming features, including new in-game events as well as new booster packs which are targeting launch by the end of the year. However, in addition to more booster packs, the team revealed thatPokemon TCG Pocketwill soon have a trading feature. While details are scarce, the message indicated that players will be able to trade “certain cards” starting in January 2025, with plans to continue expanding the selection that can be included in this list. It’s unknown if some of thebestPokemon TCG Pocketcardswill be included on this list initially. Lastly,Pokemon TCG Pocketteased even more features being in development, with plans to reveal them once the dates have been finalized.

While the theory has since been debunked,Pokemon TCG Pocketplayers shared a “Bent Corner” theorywhich quickly took off, as fans believed that selecting a card pack with imperfect corners or packaging had a higher chance at revealing a rare card. As it turns out, the theory was seemingly just some good luck by players, more than an accurate way to select card packs in-game.
