The newPokemon Scarlet and Violet events are part of an ongoing lead-up to theShiny Rayquaza Five-Star Tera Raid that will begin on December 19, with each featured Pokemon being useful in Tera Raids overall. In the case of Azumarill and Clodsire, both are bulky physical attackers with various attacks that can cover different Pokemon types. For example, an Azumarill with the ability of Huge Power can use moves like Belly Drum, Play Rough, and Liquidation to deal heavy damage. By contrast, a Clodsire with the Water Absorb ability and moves such as Toxic, Stealth Rock, and Earthquake can force trainers to switch up their strategies.
Following aTera Raid event with Corviknight and Bellibolt,Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trainers now have another one to participate in. According to Serebii.net,Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s latest Five-Star Tera Raid and Mass Outbreak events are live until Thursday, December 12 at 6:59 PM Eastern. While the event lasts, Azumarill and Clodsire can be fought in Five-Star Tera Raid dens throughout Paldea. Both Pokemon will be level 75 and can have any Tera type at their disposal. Azumarill will have the moves Aqua Tail, Charm, Double-Edge, Hydro Pump, Play Rough, and Rain Dance, and Clodsire will use Amnesia, Earthquake, Poison Jab, Toxic, and Yawn. Despite their moves, a team of level 100 Pokemon that can take advantage of a Tera type’s weaknesses should easily defeat Clodsire and Azumarill. Both Pokemon have a slight chance to drop a Sweet Herba Mystica at the end of the battle.

As for Wooper, the Johtonian variant will appear in Mass Outbreaks throughout the Kitakami region. This meansPokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers will need the Teal Mask DLC to catch the Water Fish Pokemon. WhileWooper can sometimes be found in Kitakami’s riversand lakes, the ones that are caught in a Mass Outbreak have a chance to carry the Absent-Minded Mark, which will carry over after evolving into Quagsire.
