Wonder Pick Event Part 1 Date & Details
InPokemon TCG Pocket, Wonder Pick Events are limited-timecard acquisition activities. The first event debuted on July 10, 2025, featuringChansey and Meowth Promotional Cards(PA-11 and PA-12). December’s Wonder Pick Event Part 1 marks the second installment, introducing two new Promo-A cards:Bulbasaur and Magnemite (PA-23 and PA-24). This event wraps up Series A’s roster of promotional cards ahead of the A1a mini set’s release.
Start and End Dates (Part 1)
Bulbasaur and Magnemite’s Wonder Pick Event Part 1 began on December 6 and runs for two weeks, concluding on December 20.
Missions (Part 1)
Part 1 of the Wonder Pick Event features seven missions, rewarding players with nine Venusaur EventShop Tickets.

Rewards (Part 1)
DuringWonder Pick Event Part 1, the Shop features three accessories, including two Venusaur-themed items celebrating its full art variant release. Event Tickets can be exchanged for these items by navigating toShop > Limited Time / Event > Event. While the event ends on December 20, the new accessories remain available until December 25, giving you extra time to decide how to spend your Tickets.
How to Get Bulbasaur & Magnemite in Wonder Pick Event Part 1
You canobtain the Promo-A Bulbasaur and Magnemitethrough two methods: Bonus Picks and Chansey Picks. Both activities are accessible in the “Wonder Pick” section of the game throughout the event.
Bonus Picks
A Bonus Pick is a free Wonder Pick with a 25% chance to reward the Promo-A Bulbasaur or Magnemite. The remaining four slots in the pick contain Event Tickets and Wonder Pick Hourglasses. However, Bulbasaur and Magnemite obtained through this activity may also be regular variants, notthe Promo-A versions.
In my testing, I was able to use a Rewind Watch on my first Bonus Pick of the event, and the second card I drew was a Promo-A Bulbasaur, while the first was the regular variant. I haven’t been able to replicate this since, so I assume it was a glitch.
Chansey Picks
A Chansey Pick is a boostedWonder Pickwith guaranteed Promo-A card drops. Each pick costs two Wonder Stamina and offers a 25% to 80% chance of giving you either Bulbasaur PA-23 or Magnemite PA-24. The card distribution can vary in each pick, such as one Bulbasaur paired with four Magnemites or vice versa. What’s guaranteed is that both cards will be included.
Chansey Picks cost two Wonder Stamina, despite the Promo-A cards being one-Diamond, because Promo-A cards like Bulbasaur and Magnemite are considered Holographic variants.
Frequency of Chansey and Bonus Picks Appearance
Some unconfirmed data-mined information suggests that Bonus and Chansey Picks in the Wonder Pick Event Part 1 refresh with every public update, which is believed to occur every 30 minutes to an hour. Each refreshed Wonder Pick is said to have a 20% chance of containing a Bonus Pick and a 2.5% chance of featuring a Chansey Pick.
Wonder Pick Event Part 2 Date & Details
Similar to Meowth and Chansey’s Wonder Pick Event, the Bulbasaur and Magnemite event will have a second part starting midway. This portion will introduce a new set of missions and add more thematic accessories to the Event Shop.
Start and End Dates (Part 2)
The second part of the Bulbasaur and Magnemite Event will begin onDecember 13, one week after the initial start, and will run until December 20.
Rewards (Part 2)
The Venusaur-themed icon, coin, playmat, and card sleeve will become available at the Event Shop as the primary rewards of Wonder Pick Event Part 2.
