ThePokemon GOWild Area Global event is now on, and a bunch of Timed Research has appeared for you to complete within the two days it’s active. Most of these will give you the brand new Safari Ball, which gives you a better chance at nabbing those elusive rare Pokemon, or perhaps one of the new Mighty Pokemon roaming around right now.
Some of the tasks this time around are based on thePokemon GOWild Fukuoka Timed Researchin name, but the actual tasks and rewards themselves have been altered to make them more challenging for a global audience. In addition, there are also some new research tasks exclusive to the global event, so below, you’ll find all the Wild Area Global Timed Research tasks — and the goodies you get for finishing them.
Pokemon GO Hourly Restock GO Safari Ball - All Timed Research Tasks & Rewards
Every hour, you’ll find that there is anhourly restock of the GO Safari Ballswaiting for you in the Timed Research section. Safari Balls willexpire at the end of the current day at 6 PMlocal time, so make sure you use them before time runs out!

Pokemon GO Safari Ball Extra Access Ticket - All Timed Research Tasks & Rewards
Just like the Hourly Restock Research, the Extra Access Ticket will also give you more Safari Balls every hour. This is apremium ticket that costs $1.99(or your regional equivalent). Once you buy it, you’ll get four extra Safari Balls every hour. These have the same expiry time as the other Safari Balls, so make sure you’ve used them all up before they disappear from your inventory.

Pokemon GO Throw Wild - All Timed Research Tasks & Rewards
Aside from thePokemon GOWild Area Collection challenges, the only other major research task that’s timed is the Throw Wild Timed Research. This is different from the one that appeared during the Fukuoka version of this task, in that the tasks themselves are slightly more difficult in comparison. The rewards here are relatively light, but you’re able to at least nab a Safari Ball for your trouble.
