Pokemon GO’s new season is beginning, with many new events in store for its players, including but notlimited to spotlight hour events, community days, and more. Each event allows players to get different rewards or catch different Pokemon and have chances of getting a Shiny version of it as well.
Events happen every month inPokemon GO, but not on the same dates. The only events that happen that can be predicted are the spotlight hour events, as they take place every Tuesday from 6 pm to 7 pm local time. However, almost every other event cannot be predicted as to when it will take place, and so far December is packed with many events especially since the holidays are right around the corner. For the month of DecemberPokemon GOplayers will be very busy as there are a lot of events going on for the month, including Raids, Max Monday battles, spotlight hours, Research events, and also seasonal events as well. Each one of these events will provide different rewards for the player. While some are just catching Pokemon and earning rewards, others require players to battle against other Pokemon to try and capture the opponent and earn rewards.
In December, there is a community day weekend, which won’tbe like normal community dayswhich take place just one day but instead, it will spread across two whole days as it is the last one for the year. At the time of writing, the Pokemon for this event hasn’t been announced yet butthe community days will take place on December 21 and December 22. With almost all Pokemon on the lineup beingable to be caught in a Shiny form, it makes it even more exciting. As an extra tip, players will want to stock up on candies and Pokeballs where they can before a lot of these events, to allow them to be able to catch Pokemon with ease - but also make sure to have some extra bag space as well.
