Now, with the announcement of a new event, the list of Gigantamax monsters available inPokemon GOwill soon increase.
Gigantamax Lapras will debut inPokemon GOon the upcoming Max Battle Day, which will take place on December 8 from 2-5 pm local time. During this period, the Kanto Pokemon will appear in six-star Max Raids, with trainers having the chance to find a Shiny. Among the bonuses, theMax Particle collection limitwill increase to 1600, Power Spots will refresh more often, and will host Gigantamax Battles. In addition, Power Spots will give eight times more Max Particles. Trainers will earn double particles when exploring, and will only need a quarter of the distance to acquire particles.
Gigantamax Lapras Debuting in Upcoming Pokemon GO Event
Another first for Max Battle Day will be the introduction of Max Mushroom, which, when used, will temporarily amplify Fast Attacks, Charged Attacks, and Max Move attacks from Dynamax and Gigantamax monsters duringPokemon GO’s Max Battles. The attacks will cause twice as much damage, and although using more mushrooms won’t increase the damage, it will extend the duration of the effect. The event will have a $5 ticket granting access to exclusive Timed Research, which will reward 1 Max Mushroom, 25000 XP, double XP from Max Battles, and increase the Max Particle collection limit to 5600. The Pokemon GO Web Store will sell two boxes, one for $6.99 and the other for $7.99, to boost players' progress with items.
With the announcement of the Dual Destiny season, which starts on December 3,Pokemon GOplayers have a lot to look forward to in the coming months.Necrozma and its fusions will return toPokemon GO, along with Hoopa and debuts such as Sinistea and Polteageist. The game will also add Dynamax Machop and Dynamax Krabby at a later date, with the promise of new Dynamax and Gigantamax forms debuting during the season.
