Other Pokemon Collaborations

From Japan to The World

Despite this being an already traditional collab,Pokemonhas been partnering with several different brands and artists since its 25th anniversary in 2021, when major US pop singers were gathered to release a special Anniversary Album.

After that, they kept collaborating with artists and musicians, and despite Pokemon Company investing in special albums for a long time (thePokemon Christmas Bashproves it), now evenDua Lipa is releasing Pokemon music.

Recent collaborations includeCrocs shoes, a unprecedentHatsune Miku projectwith 18 new songs and video clips, and a Van Gogh Museum exhibit whichsparked controversy among fans involving potential misconduct.

The firstPokemongames were released in 1996, and in nine generations it has already spawned several different collaborations in Japan as the franchise became wide-known and one of the best-selling series, but big partnerships were not so usual internationally. While international fans cannot try Pikachu donuts outside Japan yet, they can at least expect similar actions might happen in the future with other food chains.
