As reported by reliableDealabs' leaker billbil-kun, PlayStation’s 2024 Black Friday promotions will include two special PS VR2 deals. The leak reveals the sale prices in France, but billbil-kun indicated that the deals should also be valid in other European countries and the rest of the world with similar discount percentages. Per the leak, the first sale offers the PS VR2 headset for €399.99 instead of the usual €599.99, which is a discount of 33%. A second deal offers the PS VR2Horizon Call of the Mountainbundle for €399.99 instead of the original €649.99, resulting in 38% off. PreviousPlayStation Black Friday leakssuggested that Sony’s sales would start on November 22, and this would also be the case for the PS VR2 deals.
PlayStation VR2 Black Friday Deals
According to the leak, the limited-time discount would be available both on the PlayStation Direct site and at authorized retailers. In PlayStation’s US store, the PS VR2 headset sells for $529.99. If the leaked deal does become a reality, a 33% discount would mean the visor’s price could go down to approximately $368.49. Meanwhile, a 38% off the PS VR2Horizon Call of the Mountainpack would mean a deal of $371.99 instead of the usual $599.99. Earlier this year,the PS VR2 experienced a massive sales increaseafter some retailers sold it for the reduced price of $350. Hopefully, Sony could see the potential of a similar discount for Black Friday so that more players can get their hands on a PS VR2.
This year, Black Friday falls on November 29, but strong discounts tend to begin earlier. Nintendo and Amazon have already revealed their official Black Friday dates.Xbox has already lowered its priceswith discounts of up to 60% off on digital console and PC games.
