Grinding Gear Games has shared a list of high-priority issues inPath of Exile 2that are currently being investigated. The New Zealand-based developer did so within hours ofPath of Exile 2launching in early access.

The sequel to GGG’s 2013 action RPG landed on the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on Friday, December 6. As far as its PC version is concerned,Path of Exile 2had a rough launch on Steam, debuting to a myriad of technical issues. The ARPG’s console versions weren’t problem-free, either.

While some of the day-one issues with the game have already been resolved, GGG is currently working on addressing numerous others. The Tencent subsidiary has recently offered an update on its efforts to do so,sharing a listof several high-priority problems inPath of Exile 2that it’s currently investigating. This group includes server-side issues leading to delayed emails for password resets, verification, and other types of account management actions, which have so far prevented some players fromjoiningPath of Exile 2early accessin a timely fashion.

High-Priority Path of Exile 2 Issues Currently Under Investigation

GGG’s latest development update also saw the company acknowledge thatmigration fromPath of Exile 2’s Solo-Self Found leagueshas temporarily been disabled as part of its ongoing bug-fixing efforts. Furthermore, the New Zealand studio confirmed it’s presently investigating PC-specific crashes, particularly those severe enough to require a full system restart. GGG is also currently looking into fixing endless loading screens that sometimes occur while playing as a member of a party.

GGG Is Already Investigating Even More Path of Exile 2 Issues

ThePath of Exile 2developer currently has many other things on its radar. As a company representative explained in a December 7 post on the game’s official forums, not all known issues are publicly acknowledged in real time, and the absence of their acknowledgment doesn’t necessarily mean that they aren’t being looked into. Fans wanting to assist in polishing the game are encouraged to do so by submitting bug reports, or adding more details to existing reports.

Despite its technical issues—typical for an early access title—GGG’s latest ARPG has enjoyed a remarkably successful launch.Path of Exile 2is hence already one of the most popular Steam games ever, and it’s also trending on both the Xbox and PlayStation Stores. This is all in spite of the fact that its early access version costs at least $29.99 to access, and that plenty more prospective players are likely holding off forPath of Exile 2to go free-to-play once it’s fully released.
