Now that it has released its mid-Season 13 update, the time has come forOverwatch 2to release its third Mythic weapon skin. Deliverance is a Heavy Pulse Rifle for Soldier: 76 that is inspired by the Six Realms of Rebirth in Buddhism. The haunted weapon hungers for the souls of its enemies, evolving through four different stages of audio and visual effects based on the player’s current killstreak. The full weapon also includes a flourish in which souls swirl around the weapon, and a special animation where slain foes erupt in a column of spiritual energy when killed.

Like previousMythic weapon skins inOverwatch 2, Deliverance is acquired by spending Mythic Prisms on four unlockable tiers. The base weapon skin costs 50 prisms, with the next three tiers costing 10 each, for a total of 80 – the same cost as a Mythic hero skin, and the amount awarded by finishing the Premium Battle Pass. The Mythic weapon skin can also be purchased in its entirety in a $40 bundle that includes 20 Battle Pass tier skips.

Buying this Mythic weapon skin is not cheap, but players who skip Spellbinder Widowmaker fromOverwatch 2Season 13 can use the 80 Mythic Prisms earned from the Premium Battle Pass to unlock it. At a cost of 1000 Overwatch coins – or $10 – this is the cheapest method of getting this Mythic weapon skin. Unlike their hero skins counterparts, however, Mythic weapon skins have not left the shop at the end of each season, so Soldier: 76 fans will probably be able to buy it with Season 14 Mythic Prisms as well. That said, with the trend of a Mythic hero and weapon skin each season, plus thenew Mythic Aspects added inOverwatch 2Season 13, it seems like Premium Battle Pass players are going to have a harder time budgeting their bimonthly Mythic Prisms from now on.
