Disney Dreamlight Valleyhas added plenty of characters to its roster since the game’s release in 2022. However, characters or franchises have also been depicted in the game through themed items, companions, and clothing. Some of these characters and franchises are still missing fromDisney Dreamlight Valley’s character roster despite appearing in the game in this way. If added, one of these franchises could add an entirely new aesthetic to the Valley and maybe even some new gameplay features.

With so many properties under the Disney umbrella, it’s unsurprising that some characters and franchises have been sidelined over others inDisney Dreamlight Valley. However, developer Gameloft should look at these underused characters and franchises when deciding who should be next onDisney Dreamlight Valley’s character roster.

Disney Dreamlight Valley has Franchises Hiding In Plain Sight

Several Pixar films have motifs, furniture, and companions inDisney Dreamlight Valley, but have had none of their characters added to the game. Currently,Disney Dreamlight Valleyhas added characters from four Pixar films:Buzz Lightyear and Woody fromToy Story, Mike Wazowski and Sulley fromMonsters, INC., Remy fromRatatouille, and WALL-E and EVE fromWALL-E. The upcoming Storybook Vale DLC will add Merida fromBrave.

Pixar films, includingCars,Coco,Elemental,Finding Nemo,Inside Out,The Incredibles,Turning Red, andUp, all have furniture, motifs, or companions inDisney Dreamlight Valley. Many of these items were added through two separate Pixarthemed Star Paths– the Pixar Fest Star Path and The Wonder of Pixar Star Path. With so many assets dedicated to films that don’t have characters in the game, it’s clear that Gameloft will pull from these films in the future.

Additionally, despite focusing more on fantasy elements,Disney Dreamlight Valleyalso has furnitureand motifs from Disney’s sci-fi films. The most notable isBig Hero 6,which has several furniture items including a Baymax Gaming Chair, Red Tool Drawer, Robotic Researcher’s Desk, and Robotic Researcher’s Tools.Disney Dreamlight Valleydoes have some sci-fi elements in the game, especially surrounding WALL-E and EVE’s stories, but it has yet to fully embrace a sci-fi aesthetic.

However, ifDisney Dreamlight Valleydecides to finally upgrade one film franchise from furniture to characters, superhero elements could be on full display in the Valley, adding an entirely new aesthetic for players to draw from.

The Incredibles Would Make the Valley Super

The Incrediblesare featuredinDisney Dreamlight Valleythrough both furniture and motifs. The franchise has two furniture items: the Elasticycle and Mr. Incredible Retro Suit Display. Three motifs for the franchise were obtainable through the Pixar Fest Star Path, including the Incredibles Logo, a motif of iconic designer Edna Mode, and a motif of Baby Jack Jack on fire.

Somehow, these motifs and furniture pieces aren’t the most iconic item themed toThe IncrediblesinDisney Dreamlight Valley. In addition to the motifs being available in the Pixar Fest Star Path, players had a shot at obtaining a squirrel companion wearing one of the Incredibles’ iconic super suits. IncrediSquirrel, as the companion has been dubbed, features like any other companion in the game.

What the Incredibles' Addition Could Change

IfDisney Dreamlight Valleydecidesto expand and add characters fromThe Incrediblesto the game, it would be incredible to see superpowers on full display. Since most character additions, outside DLC, come in either pairs of two or as single additions, it would make most sense to add Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl first. This would also justify the furniture already included in the game, as it is themed to these characters specifically. Frozone would be another great addition outside the Incredible family and could add more snow or winter-themed items to the game, justifying a winter release for this hypothetical update.

Additionally,The Incredibleshas a very distinct mid-century modern aesthetic, which could easily inspire furniture in the game’s hypothetical update. If Gameloft adds a new biome in addition to the characters,Disney Dreamlight Valleycould get an area inspired by a metropolis. This would not only be beneficial toThe Incrediblesstoryline, but could be reused when adding characters from other sci-fi properties likeBig Hero 6. The addition ofThe Incredibleswould essentially open the floodgates, making any Disney Animation Studios or Pixar property viable for addition toDisney Dreamlight Valley.

Looking atDisney Dreamlight Valley’s 2025 roadmap, it seems unlikely that The Incredibles will be added to the game any time soon. Nevertheless, it would be incredible if Bob and Helen Parr took residence inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
