New World: Aeternumwill be getting aSecret Levelepisodefocusing on the elusive Aelstrom, but players also have a new warrior to meet in the Winter Convergence Festival. The Winter Warrior will make a challenging adversary to parties of 20+ players, causing havoc across Great Cleave, Ebonscale Reach, and Brimstone Sands. Adventurers are encouraged to be at Level 25 to start the event’s quest chain and Level 60 to get the most out of the activities and challenges.
New World: Aeternumwill welcome Season 7in January 2025, and the developer has already outlined the new content in a Living Roadmap. The roadmap’s first category Next Season targets short-term updates for Season 7, including new artifacts, perks, and a new Outpost Rush map. The In-Development section highlights the introduction of Seasonal Worlds, which are limited-time servers hosting unique experiences, and the In-Exploration category covers ideas being discussed and tested for gameplay, including new raids, additional PvE modes, and a siege system.
