Nintendo Adds Metroid Prime 4: Beyond to the Game’s Official Page
Metroid’s sub-series,Metroid Prime,has been around for more than 20 years, as the first installment of the current FPS trilogy was released back in 2002 for the GameCube and received a remaster in 2023. Many insider rumors indicate that aremaster forMetroid Prime 2could also be in the works, but there’s no official confirmation about it yet.
Since it was first announced,Metroid Prime 4: Beyondhas received a few encouraging updates; however, the game has also had its fair share of bad news. In 2019, Nintendo said that the development of the game was being restarted by Retro Studios, the same studio that developed the original trilogy.
