My Hero Academiaended with chapter 430 a few months ago and ever since then, fans have been waiting in anticipation for more content. With the release of the final volume recently, fans knew that they were going to be getting more surprises and exciting information because the author planned to write an epilogue chapter to add to the already existing ending. Ochaco Uraraka’s Dreams And Connection to Toga
My Hero Academiachapter 431 specifically focused on two characters and these were Deku and Ochaco. It is not a surprise for the fans to see that these two characters took up center stage in the chapter. My Hero Academia has always valued the characters of Deku and Ochaco for various reasons. For one, Deku is the protagonist of the series and is always going to be central to the story, no matter what, while Ochaco is the main heroine of the series, and she, too, is at the forefront of things at all times. In the Final War arc, Ochaco did great, and although her role throughout the series was not as elaborate as the likes of Deku, she certainly did more than her part here. Without her, the war against the Paranormal Liberation Front would certainly have been lost, and at the same time, many lives would have been lost.
Start living for yourself! – Toga
Fans were somewhat disappointed at the ending that Deku and Ochaco got at the end of the series. These two have always had a romantic connection with each other, but the author decided to leave the ending ambiguous in the manga. Here, however, things take an exciting turn. In the manga, Horikoshi revealed that Deku and Ochaco had finally seen each other’s dreams for what they were, and promised to do their best moving forward, all the while bearing the burdens of what they had seen from their enemies in the Final War. While this ending was certainly interesting, it did not elaborate upon their actual relationship at all. Here, Horikoshi added a new twist, with Ochaco seeing Toga in her dreams at all times.It almost felt as if Toga existed inside Ochacobecause of the blood transfusion. Ochaco even thought to herself that Toga might actually be living inside of her as a vestige, similar to the concept of One For All. This should not be out of the realm of possibilities, but, whether this role of Toga existed only for this short stint or if it is going to continue later down the line is something that fans will have to see.
Clearly, in the first part of the chapter, the author was building towards Ochaco’s true feelings and how she should not keep them to herself and actually go on to get them out. Judging by this part of the chapter, fans could already tell that something major was brewing.
Class 1-A Students Meet Once Again
Deku and His Friends Reunite For Shoto’s Event
Class 1A was at the center of attention in My Hero Academia chapter 431. Fans got to see all the students reunite once again and the event was Shoto’s second position in the Hero Billboard Charts. It is no surprise to see Shoto so high up. After all, he is Endeavor’s son, aided by the power of Rei’s Ice Quirk. These two powers combine together to make the perfect Quirk and he is the result that endeavor worked all his life towards. Although his birth itself is quite tragic, for the entirety of the Todoroki family,Shoto’s brilliance cannot be denied.
His talent, combined with all the hard work, resulted in him rising to the rank of Number 2 Hero, and he might even go on to replace Mirio as the Number One Hero.

That said, his strength isn’t what brings everyone together. It was his wholesome character that was the true star of the chapter. My Hero Academia chapter 431 saw all the students reunite and spend a good evening with each other. Not only were they seen drinking and eating together, but at the same time, they revealed everything that was happening in their lives, which was a very heartwarming sight for the fans. Everyone revealed what agencies they worked with and who they were choosing as their sidekicks. Characters such as Shoto himself revealed new budding interests. After having taken up an interest in food, which was following his conversation with his brother, Toya,fans got to see Shoto now moving to the countrysideto take on new exciting events outside of his Hero life.
Characters such as Bakugo continued their work, all the while looking for sidekicks to work with them. It was revealed to the fans that Bakugo started out in the hero rankings as the number 4 hero but dropped down to 15th due to his bad attitude, which is not a surprise to any fan at all. Now, he’s looking for people to work with him. But, Bakugo doesn’t want just anyone for his agency. In the chapter, Bakugo hinted at wanting Midoriya to be his sidekick, due to him wanting to surpass to surpass Bakugo. But, Midoriya casually rejects the offer, primarily because he enjoys his job as a teacher, but at the same time, because he is a Hero himself, and there will always be some sort of rivalry between these two individuals.
Fans also got to see exciting dynamics playing out pertaining to all these interesting characters and even the likes of the UA Big Three popped in, helping Uraraka with her work. Mirio was funny as ever, and played an exciting role in the chapter, as did his best friends, Nejire and Tamaki. All in all, this was a phenomenal chapter that saw their night end in quite some celebration before they all split apart and went their own ways again. However, they promised to meet once again, and that certainly was a nice sign, to say the least.
Deku And Ochaco’s Ending in My Hero Academia Chapter 431
Deku and Ochaco Are Finally Together
My Hero Academiachapter 431 was more about Deku and Ochaco than anything else. Following the split of the group,Ochaco was seen fighting against her feelings once again. This time around, Ochaco was letting herself believe that things were fine the way they were and that she didn’t need to do more. However, the false bubble that she had created around herself popped when Deku showed up behind her. Just as Ochaco was having second thoughts about the approach she took back when she shared a moment with Deku prior to the manga ending, Deku had similar thoughts.
Deku clearly believes that everyone is important to himand he shares kind feelings towards all of them, but, inMy Hero Academiachapter 431, Deku revealed that he wants to spend more time with Ochaco and that, in a way, he cares more about her than the others. Ochaco shared similar feelings and it was clear for the fans to see that they reciprocated this love for each other. With a shake of hands, Deku and Ochaco finally appear to start dating, which is something that fans were absolutely delighted to see. That was where My Hero Academia ended, and hopefully, fans will continue getting one-shots every now and then.
