Known as the former Lin Kuei assassin and student of Grandmaster Sub-Zero, Frost’s leaked skins come in five different colorways and are decorated with fairy lights and a festive plushie. Asecond wave of leaksshowed Sareena joining the festive theme, and some Redditors thought the character belonged to theTerrifierhorror franchise. New Ermac, Kitana, Mileena, and Rain skins were also shown to the community.Mortal Kombat 1’s Rain has a series of impressive moves and combos, and the character’s leaked skin was one of the favorites among fans.

These leaked festive-themed skins will likely follow suit, but early fan reactions say NetherRealm has done a great job getting the fighters into a festive spirit. Some players were disheartened by the alleged upcoming skins because of the potential microtransactions attached, but many were willing to pay the fee.
