Now, with their three-year project finally coming to an end, theMinecraftenthusiast and YouTube creator known as Grazzy has brought the entire kingdom of Hyrule to life inMinecraft. The map features everything from themajorLegend of Zeldalandmarks, such as Hyrule Castle and Korok Forest, all the way down to the little details, like the various village ruins scattered across the land. A mix of mods and world editing tools were used to bring out the project’s full potential, including WorldPainter, which was used to carve out and polish the foundation of the world’s basic geography so that it could then be built on by hand.

The creator gradually brought the many different environments throughout Hyrule to life by building them manually in creative mode, and though most of this construction appears to have been done alone, some of the creator’s friends did assist with various parts of the project. A post shared by the creator on Reddit includes some screenshots of key parts of the project, such as the completed Hyrule Castle and the Great Deku Tree. The creator also plans to upload images in the near future featuring the entirety of thismassiveMinecraftmaploaded in all at once.
What’s more, fans ofMinecraftwill be able to check out this custom build for themselves in a few weeks when the map creator makes the world available to download for free. This should allow fans ofThe Legend of Zeldaseriesto journey through Hyrule with fresh eyes in the block-based sandbox game, and may just inspire more talentedMinecraftbuilders to bring some of their own ideas to life in the game - no matter how ambitious they may be.
