If you’ve been playingMetaphor: ReFantaziofor a long time and are near the end of the game without this achievement despite always sword surfing, it’s possible your achievement is bugged. At the time of writing, there is no confirmation on the bug’s effects or if it has been fixed, but a common fix is a fullturn-off and turn-back-on of your system, along with the game. Just be sure tosave your progress first.
Turn the game off but also completely power down your system, before restarting the game. While this is a common fix, it’s not a guarantee. If this doesn’t reward you the achievement right away, continue to play the game while sword surfing whenever you can, as some players have reportedgetting the achievement after some time not sword surfing. While an exact number is not given, this achievement will take a while to get, though there are some ways to speed up the process.
How To Travel Significant Distances While Sword Surfing In Metaphor: ReFantazio
The main trick to getting this achievement is completing a regular playthrough, but sword surf everywhere you go. This may not always have you hit the goal depending on your playstyle, though there are a few locations you canfast travel toand easily sword surf around to quickly travel far distances.
There isno way to track this achievement, so it’s also not clear if the bug is getting rid of old progress or simply freezing progress at some point. If you just want the trophy and nothing else, do the full shut down then be prepared to surf around one of the two locations mentioned above for anywhere between five and thirty minutes.
