King Eitri Deck Synergies

How to Play King Eitri

King Eitri is not a complicated card. You play him like any other card with a synergy trigger, similar to Jane Foster. However, to make the most of King Eitri, keep these points in mind:

How to Counter King Eitri

The ideal counter to King Eitri is Red Guardian, who can remove Eitri’s text and reduce its Power. However, you can also includestandard tech options like Shadow Kingand Shang-Chi in your deck to disrupt King Eitri decks’ strategies.

How to Get the Free King Eitri Variant

To unlock King Eitri, you need tocollect 15 million BUBs during the Deadpool’s Diner event. This limited-time event ends on May 11, 2025, so players have until then to unlock the free card. The required BUBs are based on your lifetime earnings, meaning that losing matches won’t affect your progress toward unlocking King Eitri.

The ultimate prize in Deadpool’s Diner event is the Andrea Guardino variant of Jane Foster, which requires you to accumulate 500 million BUBs.

Is King Eitri Worth It?

As a free card, King Eitri is definitely worth the grind. However, it’s not a must-have for the current metagame. While it can create fun synergies with cards like Odin, Thor, and Beta Ray Bill, there aren’t many “cards that don’t start in your deck” that benefit from King Eitri’s effect. Additionally, as an Activate card, King Eitri is vulnerable to unlucky draws, and if you don’t get him before turn five, he’s essentially useless.
