Marvel Snap’s Season Pass card for the Marvel Rivals season is Galacta, a four-Cost, eight-Power passive card that buffs the first card you play to another location each turn. She is the daughter of Galactus and has reliable synergy with her father. However, due to Galactus’s predictable play line, Galacta works best in a less readable deck, like a modified Silver Surfer setup. This guide explains how to build an effective deck for Galacta in the currentMarvel Snapmetagame and offers insight into her overall performance to help you decide if she’s worth your money.

Keep these notes in mind when playing Galacta:

How to Counter Galacta

Buff providers aren’t always hard to counter inMarvel Snap, and Galacta is no exception. You can includea standard Shang-Chi & Shadow King duoin your deck to prevent her from growing too big. You can also negate her effect by clogging the opponent’s lanes with cards like Goblins or Debrii or by filling their hand with cards like Black Widow.

If you’re facing a Galacta-Galactus deck, simply include Cosmo in your deck. If the opponent is leaving a lane suspiciously empty, drop Cosmo there to ruin their plan. Other anti-Galactus strategies, like clogging lanes or moving enemy cards, can also help. Cards like Viper, Juggernaut, and Magneto can fill lanes and stop Galactus’s effect.
