The Stonemason’s Shop lets you buy these materials easily. Wantto upgrade your Tools? Use the Anvil in front of the shop. However, while most of these stores are readily available, some may require you to put in more effort to access them.
ThePet Shopis one such store that you’ll have to help repair in order to access its options. But thankfully, it’s not as complicated as it sounds. We’ve compiled this guide to walk you through all the steps to opening the Broken Pet Shop inLuma Island.
How to Find the Broken Pet Shop
The Broken Pet Shop is an NPC store in the Town area ofLuma Island. Head northwestfrom the Town Hall, and you’ll find the shop under the staircase leading up to the Witches' Shop. The Pet Shop gets broken due to the Earthquake incident as part of the story. But even if you arrive here before the Earthquake, you won’t be able to interact with it. To use the pet shop, you’ll have to talk to the NPC Zara, who will ask for your help in repairing the shop.
How to Repair the Broken Pet Shop
To repair the shop and open it back up for business, you’ll need to gather a bunch of different resources. Thankfully, the materials aren’t that hard to come by. If you’ve played for a few hours and progressed through any of theseven Professions in the game, you should be able to acquire them quickly. The first batch of resources you’ll need are:

Crafted at the Simple Workbench using Reeds
Once you have the required resources, head back to the Broken Pet Shop location. Interact with it, and it will be repaired to a certain extent. Unfortunately, you’ll have to deliver a second batch of resources to fix it completely. The second batch of resources includes:

Once you’ve delivered all the resources, the Broken Pet Shop will be repaired and open for business. You’ll also unlock the Pet Project achievement inLuma Islandfor your efforts.
Remember to talk to Zara after repairing the shop to claim your rewards for completing the quest.
What Can You Buy at the Pet Shop?
Now that you’ve repaired the Broken Pet Shop, it’ll turn into a store where you can buy and sell items. The Pet Shop has a variety of Cat and Dog companions that you can buy, along with different Mysterious Eggs that you can hatch into a Luma later on. You can also buy Luma Food for 300 Coins.
The pet companions cost 10,000 Coins, while the Mysterious Eggs cost 200k Coins at the Pet Shop.
