Indiana Jones and the Great Circlefeatures a mighty amount of puzzles within its chapters, and it would beno surprise to see Indiana Jonesperplexed at some of them, but not without actually being able to solve them. Within Vatican City, great mysteries lie inIndiana Jones and the Great Circle, and one that might stump players is the Secret of Secrets Mystery.
Within theSecret of Secrets, players are tasked with opening a locked safe with subtle clues on just how to get it open without brute force. With a four-digit lock involved, players aren’t going to want to try every combination, and both the answer and solution to solving the Secret of Secrets Mystery inIndiana Jones and the Great Circlecan be found below.
How to Solve the Secret of Secrets in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
The Secret of Secrets can be found in the Sistine Chapel’s back room in the Vatican City chapter. Players will find a safe on a desk, and beside it, there will be a Note to collect: Nicoletti’s Letter.
The letter itself details the clues that players need to solve this puzzle, as it asks players to “look to the stars and the saints: Peter with the key, then Paul with the sword.”
Players need to head to the right of the safe to find the Saint Peter wooden statuette, noted by how he holds a key. They can then inspect and rotate this item once they pick it up to view the underside of the statue, which will have two symbols etched underneath in white paint. The two symbols underneath should be the Astronomical Symbols for Mars x2. (4, 4)
Next, players will want to head back to the safe where they can find the wooden statuette of Saint Paul, as noted by his sword holding. Collect this item and inspect it, viewing the underside of it to reveal two more symbols: Uranus and Merkur. (7, 1)
Within the desk opposite the safe, players can open the drawer on the left to reveal the Planetary Chart note, which details the Astronomical symbols of all planets except Pluto. Starting from Merkur (bottom of the page), the planets are listed from 1 to 8, with the only missing symbol being that of Mars, which is 4.
Now that players have the note to translate the astronomical symbols underneath the statues, it’s time to put in the correct code into the safe.
Secret of Secrets Puzzle Answer in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
Once opened, players will be rewarded with a forged book of the Secretum Secretorum that they can simply toss away, as it’s a fake – and the real treasure for players lies underneath the book.
Players will also be able to grab Cutman 1, a Fitness Book that will improve health bar regeneration efficiency and will cost a total of 250 Adventure Points to unlock.
Lastly, players will be able to collect a Hidden Note, which will see players rewarded with more Action Points to spend on books toupgrade Indy’s abilities. After picking up these items, the Secret of Secrets Mystery will be completed.
