Citadelle Des Morts is shaping up to be one of the greatest maps inBlack Ops 6, throwing players into a medieval castle where they must fight off waves of the undead and other terrifying foes. Along their journey, players may find themselves working throughthe main Easter Egg quest to complete the story, though they will need to upgrade their arsenal beforehand to succeed.
While obtainingthe four elemental Bastard Swordswill give players a fighting chance against the zombies, something as simple as acquiring extra points can make a world of difference. Luckily, there is a method for players to quickly earn 1,000 Essence, while also sharing the Essence they’ve earned with their squadmates. How To Get Essence From The Wishing Well
The Wishing Well can befound over at Ascent Village, which can be accessed by opening the barrier over at the east side of the starting room. Though this landmark may fly under many players' radar, players can actually get their hands on some free Essence from it.
To do so, players will need towait for a special round to occur, where the standard wave zombies will bereplaced with Vermin and Parasites.The earliest special round occurs during round 5, meaning that players can get their hands on some extra Essence pretty early. To get Essence from the Wishing Well, players simply need tothrow a grenade down it.Once the grenade explodes, atotal of 1,000 Essencewill be thrown out of the well.
How To Share Essence On Citadelle Des Morts
While the Wishing Well is a great method for obtaining extra Essence, it can also beused to share Essence between squadmates.To begin the process of sharing Essence through the Wishing Well, players can head to the well andpress the Interact button to deposit 100 Essenceat a time. Depositing Essence can be done during any round, allowing players to deposit as much as they want.
The next step, however, will once again have to be done during a special round. When a special round occurs, players can simplycook a grenade and throw it down the well.When the grenade explodes, all the Essence that was previously deposited into the well will be thrown out, allowing squadmates to collect it.
While this method may initially seem pointless for solo players,deposited Essence can also be doubledif playersget their hands on a Double Points Power-Upbefore collecting their Essence, essentially allowing players to get back more points during later rounds.
